Decorating MDF with dye sublimation
Our dye sublimation process allows us to decorate MDF products with appealing patterns. We start by applying a base coat of powder that will act as a substrate for the pattern. The dye sublimation pattern is printed on a special transfer film which is taped to the MDF, and then the MDF is placed in a heat press. The heat and pressure of the press causes the pattern on the transfer film to be injected into the MDF’s base powder coat.
The end result is a beautiful, permanent pattern. Since it has been injected into the powder layer rather than painted or laminated on the surface, the pattern cannot be scratched or peeled off, and the benefits of powder coating are maintained!

Help your MDF products stand out with one of our patterns
Do you want to take your MDF products to the next level? By applying one of our premium sublimation film patterns, we can add a wood grain, concrete or marble effect to MDF. There are a wide variety of patterns to choose from, such as oak, pine, walnut, and granite. And by using a different colour for the base coat of powder, the final appearance of the pattern can be adjusted, allowing for even more variations.
Custom Designs
Provide us with your own logo or image
We can also apply a custom image to your MDF products! Send us your logo or any other image, and we can print it to a transfer paper with our dye sublimation printer. Once printed, it can be applied to an MDF panel in our heat press. This is a great option for store fixtures or wall panels!
